Scientists found a new planet in the Kepler-51 system. The planet is called Kepler-51e. It helps explain why other planets in the system seemed off schedule. Kepler-51e is the fourth planet found in this system. The system is far away, 2,615 light-years from Earth. Scientists used data from several telescopes. These include the James Webb Space Telescope, Kepler, and TESS.
